CA-01
Old Paris Porcelain HP Gilt Floral Reticulated Compote An amazing and rare example of an Old Paris porcelain reticulated basket compote on gold gilt pedestal plinth. All flower decoration is beautifully handpainted and intact. Gold gilt has some typical charming wear along basket rim.Basket diameter is 9+1/4", and it stands 7+1/4" tall. Bears the typical Old Paris incised mark (resembling a fancy cursive "V") within glaze, under pedestal base. Condition is excellent minus the one very light and stable hairline located on interior rim of basket, pictured. Barely detectable, and doesn't detract from its beauty. Very desireable Robin's Egg blue ground with very detailed florals, a fabulous example and wonderful addition to any early collection. Circa 1870.

Under base is marked with the typical Old Paris incised-within-glaze scribble mark as well as "500" handpainted gold. Measuring 10+1/2" in diameter and standing 5+1/2" tall. BR-M33
Fabulous Vieux Paris Porcelain HP Campagne Urn Vases These Old Paris porcelain vases are extraordinary! While these are not a pair, they look beautiful together and ought to be displayed as such. The taller of the two measuring just shy of 8+3/4" tall at rim, the other is 7+3/4". The taller has lovely embossed foliate handles at sides and just the right amount of wear to gilt, all paintings intact. There is a rim chip, and a little faint spider under one handle. The other vase has lovely classical Grecian head handles, pretty gilt wear and is in perfect condition minus the short light wisp of a hairline on rim. Both have bolt and rod construction securing bowl of vase to pedestal base plinths. Exquisitely handpainted landscape scenery and on reverse there are colorful figures depicted. Gold gilt banding and decoration on the handles. These look phenomenal on an elegantly set mantel or dining table.
